Experience a transformative journey with our Warrumbungles 7-day [ 6 nights ] camping/hiking adventure. Discover this amazing region and immerse in the volcanic landscape, and witness the mesmerizing dark sky. This adventure starts on a Friday leaving Taree/Forster via Newcastle arriving on a private 5000 acre Farm and campground in the Warrumbungle ranges with beautiful walks , lookouts and amazing nature and wildlife. Experience campfires, connection, cold dam swims ,hikes, rock scrambles, warm showers and flushing toilet with daily activities designed to re-wild and ground you and connect to self, nature & others. We commute just over an hour each way to the National Park on two or three days [weather dependant ] to hike sections of the Warrumbungles National Park including hiking Mt Bluff via Lugh's throne and the Breadknife back via Balor Hut, Mt Exmouth via West Spirey Ramp and Ogma Gap and then Belougery Spilt Rock circuit and Burbie Canyon before heading back to the private campground for a rest day & de-brief before travelling back home on the Thursday. Inclusions: Professional wilderness guides ; 6 Nights camping in spacious Twin-share"Safari style " tents with stretchers, mattress & pillow and blanket-supply your own sleeping bag ; Food includes 6 breakfasts,5 lunches ,6 Dinners and hot drinks . Lunches on the road trip are your own expense. National Parks fees included ; Emergency communication and Wilderness Trained first aid guides and kits supplied. Transfer via 4x4 from Taree to Warrumbungles and all hikes. [You may self-drive to Warrumbungles however road into private farm requires 4x4 and you may need to leave your car at the start of the road where council ceases to maintain the road] which is on private property. Items Not Included: Accomodation before & after the trip ; Towels, sleeping bags, face washers & toiletries ;Alcoholic beverages & soft drinks, Private travel Insurance, Backpacks [Day pack needed ]and walking poles . These walks in the National Park are on formed paths but over steep to very steep terrain and even with day-hiking packs require excellent walking/hiking/rucking fitness. GRADE 4.5 HIKE. The hiking on the private property is on 4WD tracks, natural bush walking trails and off-track walking and of easy to moderate grade GRADE 2 and 3. Note your Pack needs to be 15 litres or more in volume Size and capable of holding :3 litres of water ; raincoat, food for the day; emergency blanket, whistle, fleece.
